Phone App
P3 has launched a new version of the App, named the Phone App, specifically for iPhone and Android phones.
This App will have all of the same functionality as the current app, except ESM. There will be no functionality to create and present
Equipment Proposals.
The purpose of the Phone App is to have a version that will work on the smart phones for service technicians to receive their calls, complete their
diagnostics, create invoices and receive payment.
While we have tested the app extensively, nothing compares to actual field usage by the technicians. So we will be officially in the beta
stage as we work out any issues found until we give it the green light.
Please note, technicians will be able to use both apps at the same time – their current app on the iPad/tablet and then their phone app. This
will give them more flexibility in case if they try the app and have an issue, at least they can revert to the current app.
There is no additional cost to use the Phone App – either now in Beta or later. The technicians will be able to freely move between the two
different app versions if they desire.
