Global Notes and Global Contacts are a great way to share information across multiple locations for a given customer.
From the Customer Record, in both the Notes and Contact tables, there is now a Globe icon. Click the Globe and the Note or Contact becomes “Global”, meaning it will be available on all other locations for the Customer.
Please note, that once a Note or Contact is Global, it can be changed back to being visible for just a single location. Simply go to that service location and click the Globe icon again. The icon will change and will no longer be highlighted. At this point, the Note or Contact will appear for that location only.
